The sector Development & Engineering (D&E) of ASML is responsible for the specification, design and
realization of the products in the ASML portfolio. In order to service the ASML machines in the field,
D&E defines Field service items (FSI) when designing the machines. FSI’s are manufactured by suppliers
of ASML and they need to know how to clean and pack these FSI’s before sending them to ASMl
customers.
Within D&E, H&T (handling and transport) is responsible to design tools and packaging for all ASMl
products, to ensure safe, feasible and on-time shipments to our customers.
In order to ensure high quality of FSI transports, H&T is looking for a FSI packaging engineer (Field
Service Item).
As a FSI packaging engineer in the Field Service Item team you will work in a small team to define the
packaging (materials and instructions) for all ASML’s Service Parts & Service Tools.
You are responsible to make packaging decisions;
With these repetitive actions the Field Service Item team is supporting a wide variety of
groups/departments within ASML. The FSI packaging engineer will therefore have a lot of interaction
with ASML’s Design Engineers, but will also be the main contact point for our external documentation
partner.
Secondary vocational education (MBO) or bachelor (HBO) in one of the following studies: Mechanical
Engineering, Industrial Design, Industrial Engineering.
