Introduction

The sector Development & Engineering (D&E) of ASML is responsible for the specification, design and

realization of the products in the ASML portfolio. In order to service the ASML machines in the field,

D&E defines Field service items (FSI) when designing the machines. FSI’s are manufactured by suppliers

of ASML and they need to know how to clean and pack these FSI’s before sending them to ASMl

customers.

Within D&E, H&T (handling and transport) is responsible to design tools and packaging for all ASMl

products, to ensure safe, feasible and on-time shipments to our customers.

In order to ensure high quality of FSI transports, H&T is looking for a FSI packaging engineer (Field

Service Item).

Job Description

As a FSI packaging engineer in the Field Service Item team you will work in a small team to define the

packaging (materials and instructions) for all ASML’s Service Parts & Service Tools.

  • Check and validate data on product specifications provided by Design Engineers
  • Choosing/checking the packaging that matches the product size, sensitivities and logistical needs
  • Review created documentation (creation is executed by an external partner)

with ASML’s Design Engineers, but will also be the main contact point for our external documentation

partner.
