Logistic Coordinator

Who does your day looks like as Coordinator?

When the day starts you first begin with a meeting between you and your team leader, in this meeting you will discuss matters such as bottlenecks or subjects from the previous shift. After this, you will go to the floor as Coordinator to support the operation by checking the processes on different departments like inbound, allocation, putaway and outbound. If necessary, you will train the employees and/or instruct the right follow-up with the aim of improving and/or optimizing processes. Also, you will work with different warehouse systems like WMS. Regarding these systems you will be the expert with the purpose to help and train users to understand them and to operate them if necessary. As Coordinator you will act as first point of contact for these different types of systems (WMS and SAP). In several cases you will need to report and document problems/bottlenecks in order to prevent/resolve these types of issues in the future with the help of colleagues of different departments. (For example, issues with scanners or not correct inventory in our system). As Coordinator you also ensure that work instructions are up to date and, if necessary create them.

You will report your work and findings to the Team Leader.

What makes you a great candidate?

• You have MBO or HBO degree
• You have at least two years experience in a similar function within logistics;
• You have knowledge of different types of WMS/SAP systems or be able to acquire them quickly;
• You posses communicative and coaching skills to transfer knowledge;
